This definitely cooks eggs to absolute perfection. And it's not long at all! I've never been able to master a medium boiled egg, and with that I'll never have to learn! Love this device! The ONLY problem is that the "eggs ready warning" sounds like a general nuclear air raid alert, or at least like my fire alert. I pee my pants almost every time I boil eggs. I'll probably leave this out because the eggs are so perfect, but just be aware of the banshee that is released every time the eggs are fully cooked.
