The view itself is good, the picture is bright, bold. The rear lens cap is odd because it's screw-on, so it's about 5 times larger than it should be. The scope is lightweight and camo is fine if you like that sort of thing. There is a retractable lens hood, as well as a thread on the front lens (for filter or lens mounting...?). I doubt a tripod is of any practical use other than sitting on a table and looking out the window, but it's metal and surprisingly feels pretty solid. The phone mount is efficient and versatile in design - I'm sure it will fit a wide range of scopes, binoculars and telescopes. The phone clip itself is a little rough to use, but it has a secure locking screw instead of a traditional spring. The suitcase is relatively heavy and comfortable, not nearly as cheap as some others. This is a good case. Take a real tripod and shoot (as in the photo) birds.
