Review on ๐Ÿš— Dorman 674-439 Catalytic Converter with Integrated Exhaust Manifold for Honda Models - Non-CARB Compliant: Product Review and Buying Guide by Wayne Espinoza

Low cost, good fit, works great

The Honda Civic 98 had an engine fault light so I read a code (P0135) that pointed to a faulty bank 1 oxygen sensor. During installation I noticed a crack sensor in the exhaust manifold from the position of the lambda probe to the rear. In frustration I thought, is the problem a sensor or a cracked manifold? After checking several exhaust manifold options online, I settled on this particular model based on reviews and price. The item arrived a few days late (Prime membership) just after I left for the weekend. My nephew spent about 4 hours removing the old manifold (a couple of petrified screws) and installing this assembly. He didn't check the bottom packaging in the box thoroughly enough to find another hidden seal and went to the nearest auto parts store to get it. I checked the bottom of the box (other reviewers have mentioned this issue) and sure enough it was there. I don't understand why they don't put all the parts in one package. The engine light didn't go out until we installed the new O2 sensor, so both the sensor and manifold were needed. Overall I am very happy with this purchase.
