Review on Creative Blaster Audigy Performance Headphone by Alicia Pittmon

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Doesn't work with included drivers, but great with Windows 10 drivers!

At first I was angry. I installed the drivers and followed the instructions but I had no sound at all. It was uncomfortable. I ran Creative's own driver update software and it says I have the latest drivers. I've rebooted several times to no avail and was about to erase and send it back when I tried to open Device Manager. I clicked two drivers for this sound card, right clicked and checked for updated drivers. Windows Time found "better" drivers for both. Although manufacturers often do NOT recommend this route (like nvidia), the sound card worked right away and it sounds amazing. For this price it's amazing. I'm sure a $300 sound card is better, but it's way better than the built in sound and better than other sound cards I've had. You can't go wrong with this sound card at this price. I have no idea why you can get such a great card for such a low price, but I'll take it! I highly recommend it, but wanted to give a tip on the driver issue in case anyone else is having trouble.
