Review on 🔢 Omix-Ada 17215.11 Tachometer for 1987-1991 Jeep Wrangler YJ with 4.0L or 4.2L Engine by Antonio Santiago

Received and fitted with no problems; mounted without problems. As shown you will need to make a connection to the existing wiring harness. I simply cut off the connectors from both the originally failed wheelbarrow and its replacement and soldered the wires. The only color change was their red wire, which was needed to connect to the jeep's white wire. All others were the same color with the same color. When the jeep is off, it reads zero. At idle it reads what appears to be an accurate reading (around 800rpm) but when I step on the accelerator it only goes to 3000rpm and is very slow to respond to changes. If I were to believe it, I would only go from 1000 to 2500 (yes, that's right).
