Review on 🔬 Silicon Mold Making Rubber - Trial Size of Mold Star 20T by Carrie Spencer

This molding material is amazing! I've used an aluminite silicone mold to make my molds and it works well but doesn't seem to hold up to repeated use. Instead, I decided to try this stuff. SUPER easy to make molds and set-up time is super fast! In less than an hour you will have usable forms. I had only a few areas in the molds that weren't fully cured, but I believe this was due to debris on the mold container and didn't affect how well the mold performed. I have found that the curing time for lightweight casting resin is slightly longer when using these molds, but the demolding process is much easier and cleaner with these molds than with its predecessors. I've already used my full first batch and made about 25-30+ smaller molds for various casting purposes. Definitely recommend this product for both beginners and experienced mold makers. A clear material also helps a lot because you can see how full your shimmer is or where the colors are going when using pigments like I did.
