I purchased this collar 3+ years ago in the exact measured, smallest size I could use for my small dog with a thicker than common neck. She is a short-thin-haired Corgi style mix pup. For her size most other collars only came in wider/thick sizes and were rubbing off all her fur from her neck. Problem solved!Exact fit, maximum length, was a benefit for the style as it left the reflective tape showing on 1/2 the length. I purchased the soft blue color which will does sometimes show dirt but is washes out nicely.Negatives: 1) This collar style is not one you want to have to take off daily to change to a harness, on and off would be a hassle so we have to slide her harness over it, and it works fine. 2) Most of the reflective tape will be hidden especially If you do purchase a size than has extra length. Reduced star because reflective tape can never show more than 1/2 of visible collar.I would purchase again for soft touch to for the skin of my fur baby.
