Great value for me and reliable for keeping my GoPro and tripod attached (short 20" pole isn't too heavy). While I'm taking a picture with my camera, this keeps my GoPro right by my side and can switch it right into video mode when my subjects get really close (whale photography). The lock mode is a bit difficult to click for me due to severe arthritis in both hands, but it works great. Highly recommend for anything that isn't super heavy that you want to pick up and use and then put away until you need it again. The code is very long. With the extended GoPro joystick, I have no problem with it being long enough to limit my shooting range. Best thing I've bought to make taking pictures on a boat in the sea easier and safer.
