Review on Rugged Ridge 18040 50 Steering Bracket by Chris Bhatia

Product does not match advertised information. The exciting steering damper did not fit. Bracket offset by 45 degrees. The company advised me to bend the mount to fit my old rig or use U-bolts. Em! No! I have doubts about RR. I bought their stock plastic valve cover kit for my '84 cj7. Today I only spent half a day installing it. Everything was fine except for the lateral retaining bolts. They weren't the right size. Luckily I kept my screws when I replaced the plastic cover with an aluminum one. I'm still trying to figure out if the vibration of the rocker on the lid feels normal when you put your hand on it. I don't think the rocker arm bolts are long enough for the self-locking nuts on top.
