The most difficult part of this installation on Xterra 1st Gen was removing the standard connector cover. It was covered in primer and difficult to see due to the poor lighting I had. Close inspection of the connector on the Hopkins wiring harness showed me how it was attached, which made it easier to remove the stock connector cover. Grease for the plug connections is included, so the plug connections should be in good condition for a long time.
