I brought this to "replace" my old Acer S240HL. as my main thing. The KB272HL has great colors, blinding brightness in my fairly dark room, but BEWARE the VA panel has ghosting. epic on dark scenes. Metal Gear Solid 2 HD version won't play on my PS3. GTA V is difficult to play at night as the entire screen turns into a blurry mess. Text on a black background blurs when jiggled. My monitor is even worse as it was green and "follows" objects in the dark. It's great for general use, and 75Hz really makes a noticeable difference in games and even in general window movement across the screen. If you need a gamepad, trust me. , spend more on IPS or stick with TN.
