These gloves work great. Very comfortable for wood carving projects. They provide protection from accidental cuts, I can speak to this personally as a person new to carving I have had a few slips while learning. These gloves have protected my hand from several potential cuts. Note they are probably not going to prevent a puncture from the tip of a knife but they do well and are quite comfortable to protect from the accidental slip while carving. Highly recommend. I’ve read some negative reviews about the gloves being cut through. I think if you are intentionally cutting the gloves it is probably possible but as a protection from a slip or accidental graze from a sharp knife they are doing great. My two cents overall be careful, wear the gloves, and anticipate where the knife might go if it slips before you start cutting. It’s a fun hobby, even more fun when there aren’t bandages involved in the process.
