Review on 14 Ton Electric Log Splitter: Portable, Rapid Auto Return Hydraulic Ram System by Luis Mercado

1. Be sure to check the oil after 1st run without log. There will be air in system.2. I expected 14 ton motor to be twice as noisy as 7 ton but it is not. The biggest noise is when some logs pop apart.3. No problem using one hand to run controls and second to deal with logs, so it is easy to split one log into many pieces. You can stop the return any where you want.4. I use a Wen foot pedal to activate the power. It just plugged in to the cord and I left the on switch on.5. Would be nice to be able to split closer to the anvil, but have not seen a log splitter that does.6. Seems much better built than smaller units and I expect long life.7. Do not recommend using on knotted wood or with crooked cut end against pusher.
