Review on πŸ”ͺ Effortlessly Slice Through Cables with Pedro's Bicycle Cable Cutter by David Gibbs

Affordable Cable Cutters Any Bike Mechanic Will Love

I have wanted to buy a cable cutter for a long time. My dad's electrician's tools "don't cut it". I found them affordable and reliable. They cut bodies and wires easily and reasonably cleanly. In general, quality and durability are good. Great for the price, keep dry and cool, tend to rust in humid conditions. Lubricate the spring and other moving parts to prolong tool life. These cutters cut the brake housings with a slight bend, but this can be corrected with a file. For switch cases, it's a little clean, but with a cut. Again it can be shortened. With wires, however, the cut is very clean. In any case, the end cap covers the cable to keep it from unraveling. The only thing that I feel should be included in Pedro's tools is the crimping tool that is built into the wire cutters. For the price, I think it would be worth doing away with the metal in order to be able to easily and professionally crimp cable ends. That's why I only gave four stars. This is a dependable, well-built tool that should be in your home or business. I recommend this model over the Park Tool mainly because of the price.
