Our little boy was adorable. The fit was true to size. It's definitely a summer shirt, but I used it as part of a young Bilbo Baggins costume because it's hard to find collared shirts for toddlers. I will keep it and hope that it will still fit in the spring. I would not recommend this for children with severe sensory issues. Due to the loose weave, this fabric does not feel very smooth. It doesn't itch or anything, but it's not the soft and smooth fabric you'd expect from regular button-down shirts.
