If you need to knock this tool out of the mold to disconnect the ball joint or tie rod. Then you need to use wd40 or a good penetrating oil and let the joint retract as this tool works quite well. Well, my only concern is that the handle might be too long for small jobs. Still, you can customize it to suit your needs if you feel comfortable. It may be too wide for small joints, but it works well in half-ton SUVs, full-size cars, etc. I give it a very solid 4 stars!
