I just put this curtain up, I need to lower the rod, but I knew that when I ordered, but was so surprised by the difference that I wanted to leave a review. I am pretty impressed with the sunlight block this curtain provides. Our house faces west , so the afternoon sun is very bright. I took the picture with the curtain half open, so it shows how bright it is outside at 4:30 pm.I also like the width, so there is no light peeking through like you may have with a few curtains hanging.The fabric is pretty nice and soft, not stiff. Of course, out of the package they are wrinkled, but it does appear that you can iron them without melting the backing.The grommets are plastic, not my favorite, but I will get over it.I didn't rate the durability, as really it has been hanging 5 minutes.Straight out of the box, this is a nice curtain, nothing fancy, but serves its purpose well.
