Review on πŸ”ͺ Norton Aluminum Combination Abrasive Benchstone by Jason King

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great if you have a CNC machine or just hand sharpen knives

One of, if not the best table stone. Make sure you include some high purity/USP mineral oil or similar when polishing your CNC machine table and don't press too hard or stay in one spot for too long. They are also great for sharpening chef, camping, hunting, fishing and tactical knives. When using on a knife, be sure to use the orange side with some oil as the brown side can be too much (especially with thinner blades). If using thicker metal like an axe, start on the brown side for blunt axes and then move on to the orange side, or just start on the orange side for an ax that needs a sharp/thin edge. I've tried this on a sushi knife, but you might want to get something with an even finer finish in return.

Pros
  • Everything is great!
Cons
  • Expensive
