Great price - buy this stone

I have four Japanese waterstones that work very well for the final sharpening of my expensive knives, but the "ceremony" of sharpening involves taking the knife to the end is coming. 8K Cereal is an afternoon snack. I bought this stone from Norton India to sharpen my EDC knives and wood carving knives. Many carvers claim that all you need is a sling to keep your knives sharp, but I disagree. I bought this despite some bad reviews. You never know - some people are just dumb. Unfortunately, the 1 star ratings are not correct. This rock is anything but flat. I put a reliable ruler on it, it's hard to see, but one side is cupped, the other is concave. I measured the cup and it came out to be about 0.018 inches. Great if you have a CNC machine or just hand sharpen knives

One of, if not the best table stone. Make sure you include some high purity/USP mineral oil or similar when polishing your CNC machine table and don't press too hard or stay in one spot for too long. They are also great for sharpening chef, camping, hunting, fishing and tactical knives. When using on a knife, be sure to use the orange side with some oil as the brown side can be too much (especially with thinner blades).
