Review on 🔪 Norton Aluminum Combination Abrasive Benchstone by Brent Webb

I bought this despite some bad reviews. You never know - some people are just dumb. Unfortunately, the 1 star ratings are not correct. This rock is anything but flat. I put a reliable ruler on it, it's hard to see, but one side is cupped, the other is concave. I measured the cup and it came out to be about 0.018 inches. It might not seem like much, but if you want a flat stone then this isn't it. be the end of the world, but it's annoying. If you intend to use this stone on metal (e.g. to deburr a cast iron surface) forget it. It's just too far off spec to work. my money back.
