This item turned out to be exactly what I was hoping for. I was a bit skeptical after reading some of the other reviews. It is made of high quality, durable material. The pillow is thicker than I expected and provides a comfortable place to rest. The wall pads required careful placement, but the Velcro was enough to secure them and they stayed in place well. All in all, it took me less than 10 minutes to complete assembly (including cage installation). I have a very docile dog so spoiling this product is not a problem. We don't usually put our dog in a crate because he's so gentle and does well on his own. I bought it because we are going on vacation in a few months and the house we are renting requires your dog to be in a cage. while you're gone I wanted a place that would ease a little anxiety in an unfamiliar place. I wanted to create a comfortable "cave" for our dog to leave while we were away. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to "spice up" the look of their cage or make the cage more comfortable. for her dog. Wouldn't recommend if your dog tends to chew on things while you're away. I'm not sure if it's designed for that kind of abuse. Overall very happy with the quality and value.
