Arrived in perfect condition. Open the box slowly as fragile components are packed inside. Be extremely careful when separating your hands - they are wrapped in plastic and then taped down. Be even more careful when removing the protective tape by hand - use tiny sharp tweezers to grasp it. The other arm didn't have protective plastic, so don't pick it for cover. It's also important to know the size of your post (from top to bottom). You can use metal or rubber washers behind the dial if you want to lower the movement so it doesn't protrude as much. If you use a brass nut, don't scratch it. I used needle nose pliers and carefully did it very neatly. It took a while for my project to become a big hit and I would buy this kit again if I had another project. Let's hope this works for years to come! :)
