Definitely not worth it

means better durability. Not so. They scratch easily (below) and the edges of the ceramic (above) are already chipped. I've had them for about a week now and they are kept on a hanging pot rack. (So not stacked which can cause that) *I thought metal pens were worth the extra money compared to pens with plastic grips. I think I figured they could be put in the oven or would be more durable. In fact, the whole pan is so heat-conductive that you could burn your handles with normal stovetop use.* Speaking of heat conduction, even the instructions say not to put it on high heat. So if you're planning on cooking something that you want to brown at a higher temperature, forget it. *The only good thing about ceramics is that it doesn't stick. So using less oil or something like that will work. And cleaning is just a napkin - after you cool everything enough to touch the handle. I honestly would have sent it back but the packaging is gone - except for one box which the cat makes a fort with. It's better to use a cheap kit that you replace annually - it's just a more expensive kit that you have to replace annually. Pooh. If you like this type of pan, choose a cheaper brand.
