I bought this case to use as a headless music player. That's lucky for me, as some sloppy internal soldering limits its abilities as a desktop computer. A day after the return deadline, I connected the monitor to the M2 device, replaced the Rasp Pi OS with an SD card and received no video. The device seemed to start up, but after a few seconds the monitor went blank. After doing a little research online, I edited the config.txt file on my SD card to enable video over HDMI. The monitor lit up, but only at low resolution (maximum 1024x768). Digging deeper I found a user with the same problem who found a jumper on one of the video ports. He managed to re-solder the connection (thanks him!) and solved the resolution problem. I then looked into my device and actually found at least two bad solder joints. I've done similar repairs before, but for a newbie like me it's "major surgery" and since I bought it for headless use I'm not sure if it's worth it. I intend to contact Argon about this issue and hope they reply and maybe even send me a replacement board.
