This is my final mod for my 2011 Prius, took about an hour from start to finish, fitting the cold air intake is easy, removing the factory airbox takes time and attention, the MAP sensor transfer is simple, i use STP brand MAF sensor cleaner, did a thorough cleaning before installing it on the cold air intake, it went in with no problems, just need to adjust the fit between the throttle body and the air filter gap, and also the MAF connector wiring is not long enough so you need to pull more slack out of the thick bundle, tie an extra wire into the thick bundle at the factory. The sensor is installed correctly. I've been driving my Prius as hard as possible in ECO mode, the fuel economy hasn't dropped much at normal daytime speeds and the throttle response is GREAT, very lively. . So far in the last 2 filled, I've noticed a slight increase in mpg maybe 2-3mpg. Highly recommended if you like car modding. ****** Update 07.05.2015 ****** I've added an Injen Hydroshield pre-filter which is great protection against spray. This does not affect the operation of the cold air system.
