They are not as bright as I expected after reading the reviews. I don't use them as auxiliary lights, but as main taillights on a trailer. I added a few extra 3/4" knob style marker lights to compensate and I like it better than before. The wiring is a little flimsy (because they are LEDs and no major wiring is required) so it was more reliable. to solder them to the crimp connections. Be very careful when stripping the wires! The lens is waterproof and the hole on the back (where the wires go) has been properly sealed with silicone, but be careful not to let your screwdriver/nut slip off the hardware and damage the lens as it's relatively easy to break . I also don't suggest using power tools to install the lights, as over-tightening the hardware can also damage the lens. Luckily, after a liberal use of clear silicone, the small piece that broke off was easily glued back into place to maintain the watertightness inside the broken off piece to prevent direct contact. All in all , I would buy them again knowing I know now.
