This Mediify MA50 air purifier is very good at what it does, cleans and purifies the air. The fan is much quieter than other Mediify air purifiers (I have several of these) and the four-way filter the MA50 uses is much more efficient than the one-way filter. I also like that the fan blows air towards the ceiling, unlike other models that only blow air in one direction from the side. This also works great in a room where furniture naturally blocks airflow as it exits the side of the unit. UV light is a good supplement for killing viruses and mold spores, and is safer than some air filters that use ozone, which can irritate the lungs. I've done an extensive search and the Mediify air filters are the only ones I could find that use a medical grade Heppa filter that can trap viruses (a standard Hepp filter cannot). If you are serious about air quality and creating a healthy environment, then this filter is for you.
