I bought this to use as a semi-trailer. The suction cup holds tight, we put a metal plate closer to the handlebar and it sticks to it tightly. The length and stiffness of the arm are also good. I usually put it in the same spot every day. I drive 35 miles both ways in very poor construction so only 70 miles a day and it lasts. I add some water at the beginning of each day. The wireless charging feature is a bit wonky, but I only plug it in when I absolutely need to charge my phone.
