Review on Protect Your SUV with Sojoy Anti-Hail Damage Car Cover for Ultimate Weather and UV Protection by Emanuel Guffey

Revain refuses to ship this product! Terrible product. Run away from this mess.

We bought these (2 pack) to protect cars that don't fit in our garage. Four things became immediately clear. 1) Most likely, they'll never fit back into the pockets they came in. Unless you were an origami expert, this is simply not an option. 2) They have VERY WEAK cheap clamps. Two broke on initial installation and had to be repaired just before the storm. They should be much heavier and stronger. We had to order standard replacement parts from another source and due to the sewn-in construction we used zip ties to quickly rectify the situation. The second time we used them, the third clip broke. 3 failures from 4 clamps are not an indicator. 3) You will definitely need a ribbon in the middle of the skin that will be placed between the wheels. The wind penetrates like a sail under the tarpaulin, lifting it and partially turning it so that the car stays open. 4) The section of foam that provides the desired protection will absorb water and should be laid out to dry before storage. . In any place where even the slightest breeze blows, this is practically impossible. We really want the product to be free of these shortcomings and we will continue to search for a better solution. Luckily we never had hail. Due to the issues already in place I'm not sure if the advertised torro level protection will be correct. UPDATE: We've just had our first hailstorm in the area and the wind ripped off the cheap clamps, leaving our car completely unprotected. . He was taken to a neighboring yard. When I go to pick it up, it goes in the trash can. Sojoy is another example of cheap junk from a place that gives their products silly names. Sojunk would be more appropriate. Terrible design and construction. Revain should never stock this product.
