I bought this mirror in 2012 and use it every day in the shower. It lasted 4 years before it just wore out, scratching the front and part of the back peeling off. good run I bought a new one as a replacement in January this year and was very disappointed. Something has definitely changed in terms of quality. The glossy finish on the back is probably 50% gone and I can easily scratch it off just by running my thumb pad over it. The only real mirror part left is where I left the sticker on the back protecting the finish. You can see how bad it is in the attached picture (the golden tint is just a light effect). I haven't changed the way I used or stored this new one, it hangs on a hook in the shower when not in use and sits on a shelf in the shower when I use it.
