Bought an old 14 inch band saw from Central Machinery (Port Freight) but the tires kept falling off and it was driving me crazy. Bought one of these suction cups and haven't had any problems since! STEP 1 Place the new tire on the wheel and clamp the right and left sides of the wheel and tire together with a clamp. STEP 2 Insert a small piece of hard steel rod (about 3/8 inch thick) into the left and right sides UNDER the clamps. Hold the left bar with your left hand and rotate the right bar to the left bar and press the wheel. After a little elbow greasing, it will lock and you're good to go. Note: The only reason your bandsaw bar will come loose is because it is stretched and loose. This tire is solid and very stiff and does not stretch. I'm not really a big fan of imported products but this is the world we live in and there is absolutely nothing wrong with this product so I give it credit.
