I ordered these for candle making. This is my first time making candles with my own hands. I ordered a starter kit to get started. The set came with wooden sticks - they looked like popsicle sticks with a hole in the middle. My wicks continued to move and move away from the center. I ordered these in metal and they worked great! They have a small notch that holds the wick in place. I wish I had them for my first batch. Highly recommended. Made my job a lot easier.
