Must be assembled correctly! The reviews made me nervous. It seemed wobbly at first, but after reassembling it various ways, I found that the BLACK ends of the pins go into either the female broom receptacle or female dustpan, not the other part of the handle! As soon as I did, he felt strong. It is of great importance, and nowhere in the instructions was it clear how to do it. I still give it a five as it works great for picking up fluffy dog hair and regular dust and dirt and then cleaning the broom with ease. I like broom bristles as they work better than other brushed dustpans, are a bit stiffer, longer, less dense but pick up fine dirt. The comb (why I bought it) is a brilliant design for removing dirt from broom bristles, in my case fluffy fine dog hair, and it does it well. In the past getting rid of hair and dirt from the dustpan was a constant problem, those flat combs on the sides of the dustpan never worked, but the comb does! The dustpan has a flexible rubber lip that usually picks up fine dust, but sometimes you need to tilt it forward while moving it backwards, which is common with any dustpan. The handles are longer than I need, I'm 5'10", but that's not a problem. Maybe groomers will like it.
