I tried Keychron's first keyboard, the K1v1, and ended up returning it. The gap between the sound of the click, the feel of the click, and the actual registration of the button is unusable, at least for me. Since then I've tried different types of mechanical keyboards but found them boring and uncomfortable. My favorite keyboards are low-profile chiclet keyboards, but I want the durability and reliability of a mechanical keyboard. I checked Keychron again and saw that the K1 was up to version 4. I took a chance and ordered one and was not disappointed. The dissonance between sound, feel and result is gone, and it looks and feels a little better too.
