Review on Festool 496964 400Mm Sanding Block by Edwin Black
Perfect for my use in sanding blocks
Not sure what it was made for - some people seem to use it for body work. I use it to grind sleepers when laying model railroad tracks by hand. A long sander is essential to get a nice flat surface and a dust extractor keeps the room tidy. Great for this hobby! Made very simply, but I assume that this is a small series. 3M makes sandpaper that is perfect for well-placed holes.
