We've had collars for about 3 weeks now. My dog keeps turning it on by himself which is only a problem when it gets hot, I didn't notice. What really worries me is that one day the light actually broke into pieces and the pieces landed on the floor. A small child or dog can eat the parts, including the battery, which can be fatal. I think they are easy to take apart and turn on as the plastic is soft. Pros and cons for both. These pet collars are a lot easier to put on and off than the ones I've had before. Others actually hurt my hands and they feel soft and don't hurt me. The only downside to their softness that I have already encountered is that my dog can flip them by rolling them over. Yes, she rolls on carpet, bed, grass, etc. We will work on her learning to turn them off by herself. LOLI is still very happy as they don't hurt me when I turn them on and off.
