Review on ๐Ÿ  Hygger Aquarium Air Stone Kit - Fish Tank Bubbler for Hydroponics, Round Air Stone Disk Set with Small Bubbles and Ultra-High Dissolved Oxygen Diffuser by Dianna Kay

Revainrating 5 out of 5

My fish can't stop playing bubbles!

My kids love bubbles, I was intrigued by the idea of microbubbles. Decided to give it a try as I have a tank without a bubbler/airstone. I ended up soaking it overnight (I had a busy day before I could play around with my tanks) and today I finally gave up. Since I was too lazy to buy a better pump, I dug up the cheapest one that Walmart sells. It came with an anti-siphon valve and a flow regulator (if you use a heavier air load) to control bubbles. I threw it in the middle of my tank first, but the flow from my canister filter was pushing the bubbles too hard, so I moved it so it was bubbling just below the outlet. I'm sure I'll play with it a bit more or move it to where my canister is pointing to make my tank great, but that'll be later. Anyway, the rock is great. It's ridiculously HEAVY so once you get it where you need it it stays in place. Suction cups for laying pipes were included, but I haven't needed them (yet). The microbubbles are just mesmerizing, I can't capture it on video. But it's like watching cigar smoke dance in the air, bubbles dance as they rise. I might need a second or third stone and use them as decoration. Also, make sure the rock is under water before turning it on or you'll be in for a wet surprise! I soaked mine in a bowl of aquarium water before use, not tap water.
