Review on ๐Ÿšฒ Enhance Tire Change Efficiency with Crankbrothers Speedier Lever: A Game-Changing Tool for Quick & Easy Bike Tire Removal by Joe Martin

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I daresay it is better suited to make 32c or larger MTB tires.

Crank Brothers Speedier Tire Levers Black From time to time I look for an item or two that could potentially make the job easier and/or more efficient and in this case I have a Crank Brothers bought Faster Tire Levers - And it's cheap, $8, so why not try it? Wheels, both with Continental Grand Prix tire sets. I will tell you. The Speedier Lever is really strong so I removed and reinstalled those tires AND used a second and third Pedro tire lever! to detach the clincher tires from the rim, but the underside of the Speedier lever used to put the tire back on the rim seems too big for the task at hand. In fact, I dare say it is better suited for MTB 32c tires or larger to use this leverage feature. It's a good idea to protect the knuckle, but I've found that placing the hand in that area just doesn't allow for enough force to be applied when working the hard tire off and onto the alloy wheel. And I don't have gorilla arms, that's Lana from Archer. I might have had a bad "tire day" and to be honest I was determined to give it another try. This tire changer takes a little getting used to, but it's still not fun to use the auxiliary side of the tire changer. Trust me, I've changed more bike tires than you can imagine! This tire changer doesn't answer the simpler, more efficient question. It will work, but I'll stick with my Pedros for now.

Pros
  • Nice item
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
