I bought this lens two years ago. I can confidently say that this is the best lens for the Canon system that I have had. It is universal, despite the fact that the fixed, focal length, as well as the advantages that I indicated above, allow them to shoot in a variety of conditions, up to dark churches, where only candles are lit and lamps are full of heat. I use it with 6D, my working aperture is f / 1.6 - well, except that groups of people can be shot with a larger value, otherwise - there is always enough sharpness. By the way, I planned to use this lens to a limited extent, as it was the main 24-70 II, but when it came to the realization that I had enough sigma for everything, 24-70 was sold without regrets
