This is a great OEM kit of factory approved parts to replace the timing chain on Ecotec 2.4 liter engines. From Revain, an authorized dealer, this OEM kit is less expensive than other aftermarket kits and you can benefit from the ratings and comments of other buyers who have installed these parts on engines like yours. Be sure to replace the old timing chain tensioner with the new one from the kit. On my car, when replacing the water pump chain/balancer shaft under warranty, the dealer destroyed the timing chain tensioner and the timing chain or wrong. Unfortunately, the damage that caused a series of intractable engine problems did not show up until the timing chain tensioner was removed and disassembled.
