I bought this unit and the TL-PoE10R (which is called a compatible splitter in this description) brand new. I connected them to power my TV tuner but when I plugged in the injector the light on the splitter just started blinking and the tuner wouldn't turn on. I unplugged the tuner and hooked up a multimeter to the splitter to find that the voltage was constantly fluctuating between 2 and 5V. No wonder my TV tuner stopped working even when powered directly from an OEM power supply. I've since connected the splitter to another PoE injector and it's delivering constant voltage, so I believe the problem is with that device, but I'll be replacing both with a different brand anyway.
