Ideal! Power Supplies

This is exactly what I need to power the microphones on my 4 cameras that don't have built in audio (they have audio in and out). I also bought the microphones (VideoSecu High Sensitive Preamp Mini Audio Pickup Tiny Spy Microphone with Power Bypass for Security Audio Sound Voice Monitoring Recording and Bonus WD4 Warning Sticker) here at Revain and now I have great sound on all 4 cameras. My PoE (Power over Ethernet) Ethernet cable connects to TP-Link, which then splits into a regular Ethernet…

One included adapter is massive - nothing fits

I bought this hoping to integrate it into a PoE network in a new build. I was hoping to use some of these to power MoCa adapters (Actiontec) and IP cameras (Foscam). Unfortunately, the ends of the cable going from the splitter to the device are MASSIVE - and there's only one. So far I haven't found any device that supports this (2 cameras and 1 MoCA adapter. Why not include more than 1 size if it's universal? If only 1 is shipped why not make it smaller? From this link TP doesn't Do not offer…

Remote Network Hub Power

Love keeping our entire network running in the event of a power outage. I disabled a network hub in the basement. Rather than plugging this hub into my own backup battery, I chose to use a POE injector on the modem and router so they can share their existing backup battery. This was my first time using POE, so I wanted to stick with IEEE 802.3af compliant POE devices to keep it simple. It was easy to set up and worked flawlessly. The only minor complication was that I had to buy an adapter to…

Please check the output voltage manually first - my TV tuner is broken

I bought this unit and the TL-PoE10R (which is called a compatible splitter in this description) brand new. I connected them to power my TV tuner but when I plugged in the injector the light on the splitter just started blinking and the tuner wouldn't turn on. I unplugged the tuner and hooked up a multimeter to the splitter to find that the voltage was constantly fluctuating between 2 and 5V. No wonder my TV tuner stopped working even when powered directly from an OEM power supply. I've since…

This combo is great for powering Raspberry Pi or Pine64 boards

This TP-Link PoE splitter works well with this adapter: http://amzn.to/ 2r1WZoV. This combination is great for powering Raspberry Pi or Pine64 boards. I used it with this fanless PoE+ switch: http://amzn.to/2qDtOYo. This trio is a great combination for a lab wanting to avoid the guessing game of whether micro PCs will get the performance they need. This splitter is cheaper than many others but has a maximum output of 15.4W (<10W recommended). A standard Rpi 3 consumes around 2300mW and I was
