We have changed the brush twice in the last 4 years and a toilet holder. We went for the metal ones with plastic cups. Both are rusted at the bottom. I suspect water has seeped through the plastic cup. This time I wanted the oil bronze to match our bathroom. It looks surprisingly good, and it's all plastic. I hope it lasts more than 2 years. The price is reasonable. The construction seems solid and looks good. Give it a try, I doubt you'll be disappointed.
