This is a great cargo net and the small size is very good for short bed pickups (I have a 2007 Tacoma with a short bed). :one. If there is a tarp underneath, make sure it is absolutely secure. A corner of the tarp flapped in the wind, and after a few hours of driving it wrapped itself around one of the cargo net's elastic cords and twisted until it broke (I don't know how). Plastic hooks are fine, but I'd recommend going to your local hardware store and getting a dozen metal hooks for 99 cents instead.
