Review on Fit System 62093 94G Chevrolet Replacement by Bill Maki

This is a mixed seller rating. Seller: The seller is great and should be recognized as such. I bought these mirrors and in the end I was not happy with them and the seller returned the money. However, they were willing to go the extra mile to make me a happy customer and they did it and for that they got 5 stars as a seller. Product: I give the product 2.5 stars. Attaching the mirrors was easy, taking about an hour per side. There is a nice video on YouTube from one of the major auto parts stores that explains it well. The mirrors mostly worked fine on my 2012 GMC 2500HD Duramax, which originally came with non-towable power mirrors. Why tow mirrors were an option on a tow truck is still a mystery to me. If anything, the mirrors worked well when it came to turn signals and power adjustments. However, with my truck and after some research, I understand that this is a custom build for the car. The mirrors will make crazy adjustments when the doors are unlocked with the remote. Some people have solved this problem by disabling the truck's "curbside parking" and/or the "seat memory home memory" feature. This did not work on my truck and I understand that the door modules will need to be reprogrammed by the dealer to work properly. That being said, the main reason I didn't want a mirror was that the set I picked up wasn't properly attached. I couldn't ultimately determine which mirror was defective, but they definitely had different fixation angles between the two. I'm not sure if they are all like that, but the ones I wrote down were like that. Overall it's not a bad product but I just wasn't happy with the set I received. I would say take a chance, the price is definitely right and the seller is top notch. Who knows, maybe the set you will receive will be fantastic, but if not you can count on a fantastic seller.
