Review on Oatey 33403 4-Inch Plastic Plug with Galvanized Screw and Wing Nut by Victor Ceja

So I didn't look at everything when I bought it. Bought this for my truck's pressurized water system so it was easy to fill with water and then shut off. I didn't want to mess with the screw cap or have to use tape every time I unscrew the cap. I found this and thought it's just what I need. That. except it's only rated for 5psi. I wasn't aware of that when I first filled the system with water. I upped the pressure to 30psi and it's holding up well. The water flowed like I hoped it would, so I decided to try 40psi (remember this was before I realized it was only rated for 5psi). I run the system to 40psi and stand back to check for leaks. At that moment, the plug broke, ripping off the top of the tube like an old-school water rocket. The fork flew about 20 feet into the air with a loud bang and landed in a nearby tree. It was loud enough to hear in the house. I removed the plug and reinstalled it into the water system, bumped it up to 25psi and it seems to be holding. We'll see how it fares on the 6-day hike in Moab next week, but it looks like it'll do what I need it to.
