love, love, love good for nuts

Yes, that's right, love. You've got a 4" PVC hole and you're tired of dealing with screw caps that get stuck over time (or worse, the folks who made the holes were a bit beveled and have bits of quick setting material or other debris left in the threads, problems guaranteed). Opening and closing the lid for cleaning. Here is your answer. Virtually airtight when fully closed but light enough to open again when you need access. I am sure that it is not suitable for print use. But if you have…

Easy to use, well made, seals tight and is great value for money!

Very well made and works great! I have a 4 inch cast iron trap that is over 90 years old. I used lead drain plugs on the trap, which can only be installed with a hammer. I always worry about old cast iron cracking when removing or installing plugs. After searching the internet for some time I came across these plastic plugs and decided to try them. You are fantastic! This lid fitted perfectly with just a few turns of a massive oversized wing nut. The best part is that if I ever need access, it's easy to remove. The flush port is on the top of the U-trap so it's not pressurized and the water normally never makes contact with the cap, so I have no idea if this cap will hold up to pressure. This 4 inch cap replaced a

Holds more pressure than advertised for

So I didn't look at everything when I bought it. Bought this for my truck's pressurized water system so it was easy to fill with water and then shut off. I didn't want to mess with the screw cap or have to use tape every time I unscrew the cap. I found this and thought it's just what I need. That. except it's only rated for 5psi. I wasn't aware of that when I first filled the system with water. I upped the pressure to 30psi and it's holding up well. The water flowed like I hoped it would, so I…
