If you're looking at this set like me because the price per piece is better than anything else, you're in for a nasty surprise. With 150 large pebbles, your child will have almost as much fun. The box says 150 and I counted 154. HOWEVER, 86 (56%) of these parts are full-height 1x1s (see second photo) and the smallest parts they produce. If you want to build icicles, this set is for you. Of the remaining 68 pieces, 30 are half-height 1x2s, which are the second largest pieces they make. (Also seen in the second photo) In fact, out of the 150 parts promised, 36 are good enough to build anything. % of parts that are not 1 x 1 and represent a better offer.
