I agree with the other reviewer on the design of this unit. It's attractive and easy to install, but the height adjustment mechanism is unfinished, depending only on a lock washer to maintain the height of the adjustment. As soon as someone other than a cat steps on it, the entire block immediately lowers to the lowest possible height, thus nullifying all settings. I'll do what another review suggested and use blocks to hold the seal on the bottom of the door. But of course this means that the product is not regulated, it can only be modified to make it usable. I cannot recommend such a non-essential solution. I have one more door to do and will be looking for the best product. I usually like the products Revain sells, but this product ruins Revain's shine. I'll be more skeptical about future purchases.
