The quality of the goods does not meet my expectations. The product was not only poorly assembled but also broken into many pieces.

It's easy enough to cut from 36" to 32" with a hacksaw. Coated the wood with poly for wear and then went to install and the screws were never shipped. So everything is ready to go and now all that remains is to wait for a replacement or to buy spare parts from your local depot.

Two of these sleepers were installed in January 2021 and the 'bronze' coating quickly began to peel as the surface was obviously poorly prepared to receive the coating. It's definitely not anodized aluminum but rather poor quality black paint applied to the aluminum entry panel.

This is a good, well designed and built unit. Its minimum thickness is listed as 1 1/8 inches, which is all the space I have. a little higher and not lowerable due to the construction Unfortunately I can't use it and since it has to be shortened to the posts I can't return it.

Fairly easy to cut and install and looks good from above once installed. Only oak and metal are visible. The photo shows the underside of the sill so both pine and oak are visible. In my setup, the door opens onto an outdoor patio that receives a lot of rain, so when it rains, the water hits the sill directly. I need to replace the pine floor with a hardwood floor, but a bit complex. Instead I'll treat it with a preservative and assume it will rot again in five years.

The only one that fits I could find. Otherwise there are better products. The system used to set the rosette is far from perfect, but works well if you use a deep wellhead and give it a couple of good hits to set it firmly against the bolt shoulder. Or you can use spacers like some others. The problem with the method I mentioned is that it's a bit more difficult to align the bolts with the t-nuts. I agree with the other reviewer on the design of this unit. It's attractive and easy to install, but the height adjustment mechanism is unfinished, depending only on a lock washer to maintain the height of the adjustment. As soon as someone other than a cat steps on it, the entire block immediately lowers to the lowest possible height, thus nullifying all settings.
